Demolition Begins at Future Site of “The Rise Hollywood”

Demolition is underway for a series of low-rise structures at 1311 N. Cahuenga Boulevard, the first step towards a $110-million mixed-use development known as the Rise Hollywood.

The joint venture between Cal-Coast Development and Rescore calls for a seven-story building featuring 369 apartments – including 12 live/work units, 30 micro units and 20 units of moderate income housing – above 2,500 square feet of street-fronting commercial space. Proposed accessory uses in the development include an underground parking structure, a public plaza, outdoor decks and a fitness center.
